Over the summer Wordsby worked very closely with Head Vet Emma Nicholas and her team at London Veterinary Centres on their brand, marketing and website. Emma has two high quality but friendly practices in West London – one in Barons Court and the other in Notting Hill. We needed to find an identity that would work for both these fashionable neighbourhoods that reflected the personality of practices’ biggest asset – Emma herself (a well-known and trusted local vet). That’s why we created two of everything and went with the simple but effective names of ‘Barons Court Vet’ and ‘Notting Hill Vet’ – afterall, it’s where they are and who Emma is.

After presenting lots of concepts, colour charts and drawing animals of all different shapes and sizes we created a logo Emma loved and felt was right for her business. We applied this in various styles to her business card, carrier bags and letterhead. But we wanted to have a little fun with the back of the card and so used the animals as super graphics in a vibrant but sophisticated colour palette.

We applied the design to posters to go in the practice windows with the stylish new colour palette.

And created postcards to attract new customers.
